Welcome to Weefou. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using the Weefou mobile application, website, features, subscriptions, chat, profile discovery, location-based services, community tools, plan requests, and related services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Weefou, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use Weefou.

1. About Weefou

Weefou is an intent-based social discovery app that helps users connect with nearby people for friendship, dating, events, travel, networking, communities, activities, and real-life plans.

For the purpose of these Terms:

“Weefou,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means Weefou. Legal entity details will be updated when available.
“User,” “you,” or “your” means any person who accesses or uses Weefou.
“Services” means the Weefou app, website, platform, features, subscriptions, paid services, communication tools, and related services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Weefou.

By using Weefou, you confirm that:

You are 18 years or older.
You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
You are not prohibited by law from using the Services.
You will provide accurate and truthful information.
You will not use Weefou for illegal, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or unsafe activities.

We may suspend or delete any account if we believe the user is under 18 or has provided false information.

3. Account Registration

To use Weefou, you may need to create an account using your phone number, email address, social login, or another supported login method.

You agree to:

Keep your login credentials secure.
Not share your account with others.
Not create fake, duplicate, misleading, or impersonation accounts.
Immediately inform us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

4. User Profile

Your profile may include your name, age, gender, photos, bio, interests, intent, sub-intent, location, preferences, prompts, verification status, and other information you choose to provide.

You agree that:

Your profile information must be truthful.
You will not upload fake, misleading, stolen, abusive, or illegal content.
You will not impersonate another person.
You will not use another person’s photo or identity without permission.
You will not misrepresent your age, gender, identity, relationship status, or intent.

We may review, restrict, hide, suspend, or remove profiles that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

5. Intent-Based Discovery

Weefou allows users to discover and connect with people based on intent, sub-intent, location, interests, preferences, and other matching signals.

We do not guarantee:

That you will match with any specific person.
That every profile shown to you will be accurate.
That users will accept your request or reply to your messages.
That real-life plans will happen.
That any user’s intentions are fully verified.

You are responsible for your own communication, decisions, meetings, and safety.

6. Location-Based Services

Weefou may use your location to show nearby users, improve discovery, suggest plans, enable travel mode, and provide location-based features.

By granting location permission, you agree that Weefou may process your location data according to our Privacy Policy.

You understand that:

Location-based results may not always be accurate.
You should not share your exact live location with unknown users.
You can disable location permission from your device settings.
Some features may not work properly without location access.

7. Chat and Communication

Weefou may provide chat, messaging, plan requests, notifications, and other communication features.

You agree not to send messages that are:

Abusive, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, fraudulent, spammy, illegal, misleading, unsafe, or harmful.
Sexually explicit without consent.
Promotional without permission.

We may review chats or related metadata where required for safety, moderation, abuse reports, legal compliance, or platform protection.

8. Plan Requests and Real-Life Meetings

Weefou may allow users to create, send, accept, decline, or manage plan requests for activities such as coffee, events, travel, networking, group hangouts, or other real-life plans.

You understand and agree that:

Weefou only provides a platform for connection.
Weefou does not guarantee the behavior, safety, identity, background, or intentions of any user.
You are responsible for your own safety during any real-life meeting.
You should meet in public places.
You should inform a trusted person before meeting someone.
You should not share financial details, personal documents, passwords, or private information with other users.
You should report unsafe, abusive, suspicious, or fraudulent behavior immediately.

Weefou is not responsible for any offline interaction, meeting, event, dispute, loss, injury, harm, or damage arising from user interactions.

9. User Content

User Content means any content you upload, post, send, display, or share on Weefou, including photos, bio, messages, prompts, notes, comments, plan details, reports, and media.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

However, by using Weefou, you give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, display, reproduce, modify, moderate, remove, and process your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, securing, and providing the Services.

You confirm that:

You own or have permission to use the content you upload.
Your content does not violate any law or third-party rights.
Your content does not contain non-consensual images, private information, nudity involving minors, sexual exploitation, hate speech, harassment, threats, or illegal material.
Your content follows our Community Guidelines.

We may remove any content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

10. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Weefou to:

Create fake profiles or impersonate another person.
Harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, scam, or harm users.
Share non-consensual images or private information.
Promote violence, hate, discrimination, self-harm, or illegal activity.
Send spam, phishing links, fraudulent messages, bots, or fake engagement.
Ask for money, gifts, investments, or financial help from users.
Promote illegal services, drugs, weapons, gambling, or harmful activities.
Upload adult, obscene, exploitative, or illegal content.
Reverse engineer, hack, damage, or misuse the platform.
Sell, rent, transfer, or commercially promote through your account without written approval.
Collect user data without permission or violate any applicable law.

Violation may result in content removal, account restriction, suspension, permanent ban, or legal action.

11. Safety, Reporting, and Blocking

Weefou may provide reporting, blocking, moderation, and safety tools.

You can report users or content for reasons such as:

Harassment, abuse, threats, hate speech, illegal activity, or suspicious behavior.
Fake profiles, scams, impersonation, inappropriate content, or non-consensual content.
Minor safety concerns or other unsafe conduct.

We may review reports and take appropriate action, including warning, restricting, suspending, or deleting accounts.

Blocking a user may limit their ability to contact you, view you, or interact with you, depending on app functionality.

12. Photo Verification and Account Verification

Weefou may offer photo verification, document verification, or other trust and safety checks.

Verification does not guarantee that:

A user is completely safe.
A user’s intentions are genuine.
A user has no criminal history.
A user’s offline behavior will be appropriate.

Verification is only a trust signal and should not replace your personal safety judgment.

13. Subscriptions and Paid Features

Weefou may offer free and paid features, including subscriptions, premium plans, boosts, super likes, visibility features, or other paid services.

Paid features may include:

Additional likes, boosts, super likes, and higher profile visibility.
Advanced discovery filters, premium profile features, and other premium tools.
Chat or plan-related benefits.

Subscription details, pricing, billing cycle, renewal terms, and available features will be shown before purchase.

By purchasing a paid service, you agree to the displayed price, billing terms, and applicable app store or payment partner terms.

14. App Store and Payment Terms

If you purchase a subscription or paid feature through Apple App Store or Google Play, payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling may be controlled by Apple or Google.

You are responsible for managing your subscription through your Apple or Google account where applicable.

Deleting your Weefou account or uninstalling the app may not automatically cancel your subscription.

15. Auto-Renewal

Some subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You can cancel auto-renewal through your app store account or other available payment settings.

If you do not cancel before renewal, you may be charged for the next billing cycle.

16. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are subject to:

The refund rules shown at the time of purchase.
Apple App Store or Google Play refund policies, if purchased through app stores.
Weefou’s Refund / Cancellation Policy.
Applicable consumer protection laws.

Weefou may not be able to directly process refunds for purchases controlled by Apple or Google.

17. Promotions, Free Trials, and Offers

Weefou may offer free trials, discounts, promotional access, birthday access, referral benefits, or limited-time offers.

We may modify, withdraw, restrict, or end offers at any time.

Promotions may be subject to additional terms, eligibility rules, validity periods, and usage limits.

18. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Our collection, use, storage, sharing, and protection of your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

By using Weefou, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

19. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion through:

In-app option: Settings > Account > Delete Account, where available.
Email: founder@weefou.com.

After account deletion, your profile may no longer be visible to other users.

However, we may retain limited information where required for:

Legal compliance, fraud prevention, safety investigations, payment records, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, and enforcement of these Terms.

Deleting your account may not automatically cancel active subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play.

20. Account Suspension or Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
You create a fake or unsafe profile, misuse paid features, upload illegal content, or harm users.
We receive serious reports against your account or are required to act by law.
Your actions create risk for Weefou, users, or third parties.

We may also remove content, limit features, disable discovery, restrict chat, or permanently ban users where necessary.

21. Community Guidelines

You agree to follow Weefou’s Community Guidelines, User Safety Policy, Report / Block / Abuse Handling Policy, and other policies made available by Weefou.

These policies form part of these Terms.

22. Third-Party Services

Weefou may use or link to third-party services such as:

App stores, payment gateways, login providers, analytics tools, cloud hosting, and maps/location services.
Event platforms, external websites, and social media platforms.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Weefou is not responsible for third-party content, policies, services, failures, or actions.

23. No Professional, Matrimonial, or Background Check Service

Weefou is a social discovery and connection platform.

Weefou is not:

A background verification agency, matrimonial service, dating guarantee service, travel agency, or event organizer for all user-created plans.
A legal, financial, medical, or professional advisory service.

Any decision to connect, chat, meet, travel, attend events, or share information is your own responsibility.

24. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Your profile information, messages, shared content, interactions, offline meetings, and safety decisions.
Your subscription management, legal compliance, device security, and account security.

You agree to use Weefou responsibly and respectfully.

25. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Weefou name, logo, brand, design, features, software, content, interface, graphics, icons, trademarks, and technology belong to Weefou or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or misuse any part of Weefou without written permission.

26. Feedback

If you share feedback, ideas, suggestions, or feature requests with Weefou, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.

We may use your feedback to improve our product, services, marketing, safety, and user experience.

27. Service Availability

We try to keep Weefou available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always available service.

The app may be unavailable due to:

Maintenance, updates, bugs, network issues, server issues, third-party service failures, security reasons, or force majeure events.

We may modify, pause, or discontinue any feature at any time.

28. Disclaimers

Weefou is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

You will find matches or meet people successfully.
Users will behave honestly or safely.
Profiles will always be accurate.
Paid features will guarantee results.
The app will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
Any real-life plan or event will happen as expected.

You use Weefou at your own risk.

29. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weefou shall not be liable for:

User behavior, offline meetings, failed plans, or emotional distress caused by user interactions.
Loss of data, loss of profits, subscription decisions made by users, third-party payment or app store issues, or unauthorized account access due to user negligence.
Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

30. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weefou, its founders, partners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

Your use of Weefou, violation of these Terms, violation of law, content, interactions, offline meetings, misuse of the platform, or infringement of third-party rights.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make important changes, we may notify you through the app, website, email, or other reasonable method.

Your continued use of Weefou after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

32. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be handled by the courts located in India.

Leave any situation that feels unsafe.
