Sometimes, Weefou may take moderation action against an account, profile, photo, message, plan, event, community post, or other user content if it appears to violate our Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, User Safety Policy, Privacy Policy, or applicable law.
If you believe a moderation decision was made by mistake, you may submit an appeal for review.

- Temporary account restriction

3. Why Moderation Action May Be Taken
Weefou may take moderation action if we find or reasonably suspect:
- Fake profile

- Scam or fraud

- Sexual harassment
- Non-consensual content
- Explicit content without consent
- Inappropriate photos

4. When You Can Appeal
You may appeal if:
- You believe your account was restricted by mistake
- You believe your content was removed by mistake
- You believe your photo was rejected incorrectly
- You believe your verification was removed incorrectly
- You believe your account was suspended or banned unfairly
- You believe the reported content was misunderstood
- You have new evidence or context for review
- You believe the action was based on incorrect information
5. When an Appeal May Not Be Accepted
Weefou may reject or limit appeals if:
- The appeal is incomplete
- The appeal contains false information
- The account was involved in serious safety risk
- The issue involves child safety, exploitation, threats, fraud, or illegal activity
- The same appeal has already been reviewed
- The user repeatedly misuses the appeal process
- The account was created to bypass a previous ban
- We are legally restricted from sharing details
- The appeal is abusive, threatening, or spammy

7. Details Required for Appeal
To help us review your appeal, please include:
- Full name
- Registered mobile number
- Registered email address
- User ID, if available
- Date of moderation action
- Type of action taken
- Reason shown in the app or email, if any
- Content or profile section involved
- Explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect
- Supporting screenshots or evidence, if available
- Any additional context that may help review
Please do not share OTPs, passwords, UPI PINs, bank details, or unnecessary sensitive information.
8. Appeal Review Process
After receiving your appeal, Weefou may:
- Check your account details
- Verify your identity, if required
- Review the moderation decision
- Review the reported content or behaviour
- Review screenshots or evidence
- Check previous reports or violations
- Review safety, abuse, fraud, or legal risk
- Decide whether to uphold, modify, or reverse the decision
9. Possible Appeal Outcomes
After review, Weefou may decide to:
- Restore removed content
- Restore profile visibility
- Restore chat access
- Restore plan request access
- Restore verification
- Remove or reduce restriction
- Convert a ban into a warning
- Keep the original decision unchanged
- Keep the account suspended
- Keep the account permanently banned
- Take additional action if new violations are found
10. Review Timeline
We will try to review appeals within 7 to 15 working days after receiving complete information.
Some appeals may take longer if they involve:
- Safety investigation
- Legal review
- Fraud review
- Payment review
- Multiple reports
- Serious abuse concerns
- Technical verification
- Law enforcement request
- App-store or payment partner issue
11. Important Limitations
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that the moderation decision will be reversed.
During the appeal review:
- Your account may remain restricted
- Removed content may remain unavailable
- Chat or discovery may remain disabled
- Paid features may remain paused or unavailable
- We may not share all details for privacy, safety, or legal reasons
12. Serious Safety Violations
Appeals related to serious violations may be reviewed with extra caution.
Serious violations include:
- Child safety risk
- Sexual exploitation
- Non-consensual intimate content
- Threats of violence
- Blackmail or extortion
- Fraud or financial scam
- Doxxing
- Stalking
- Hate speech
- Illegal activity
- Repeated harassment
- Platform manipulation
In serious cases, Weefou may permanently ban the account and may cooperate with lawful requests where required.
13. False or Misleading Appeals
You must submit appeals honestly.
You must not:
- Submit fake evidence
- Edit screenshots to mislead us
- Hide important facts
- Use abusive language
- Threaten support or moderation staff
- Submit repeated spam appeals
- Create new accounts to bypass moderation
- Ask others to mass appeal or pressure Weefou
Misuse of the appeal system may lead to further restriction.
14. Paid Users and Appeals
Paid users must follow the same rules as free users.
Having a subscription, boost, premium visibility, or paid feature does not give special permission to violate Weefou policies.
If a paid account is restricted, suspended, or banned due to policy violation, refunds may not be provided unless required by applicable law, app-store policy, or Weefou's Refund / Cancellation Policy.
15. Account Deletion During Appeal
If you delete your account during an active appeal, Weefou may not be able to complete the appeal review.
Some records may still be retained where required for:
- Safety review
- Abuse prevention
- Fraud prevention
- Legal compliance
- Payment records
- Dispute resolution
- Platform security
16. Privacy During Appeal
Appeal information will be used only for review, safety, support, compliance, and platform protection purposes.
We may review relevant profile details, content, reports, messages, plan activity, transaction details, or technical logs where necessary.
We will handle personal data according to our Privacy Policy.
17. Final Decision
After appeal review, Weefou may issue a final decision.
The final decision may include:
- Decision reversed
- Decision partially changed
- Decision upheld
- Account restored
- Account remains restricted
- Account remains banned
Weefou may refuse repeated appeals for the same issue unless new and relevant evidence is provided.
