This Refund / Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, subscriptions, paid features, failed payments, duplicate payments, and billing-related concerns are handled on Weefou.

By purchasing any subscription, premium plan, boost, super like, add-on, event-related feature, or other paid service on Weefou, you agree to this Refund / Cancellation Policy, along with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Subscription Terms, and other applicable policies.

1. About Weefou

Weefou is an intent-based social discovery app that helps users connect with nearby people for friendship, dating, events, travel, networking, communities, activities, and real-life plans.

For the purpose of this Policy:

  • “Weefou,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means Weefou. Legal entity details will be updated when available.
  • “User,” “you,” or “your” means any person who accesses or uses Weefou.
  • “Paid Services” means subscriptions, premium plans, boosts, super likes, paid visibility tools, paid communication features, event-related paid tools, or any other paid feature offered by Weefou.

2. Paid Services

Weefou may offer free and paid features.

Paid Services may include:

  • Monthly subscriptions and yearly subscriptions.
  • Premium profile features, boosts, super likes, advanced discovery filters, and visibility tools.
  • Chat or plan-related benefits, event or community-related paid features, and other paid add-ons introduced from time to time.

The price, validity, benefits, billing cycle, renewal terms, and cancellation details will be shown before purchase.

3. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through:

  • Apple App Store, Google Play Store, payment gateways, UPI or other supported payment methods, and other authorized payment partners.

Weefou may not directly collect or store full payment credentials such as card number, CVV, UPI PIN, banking password, or full wallet credentials.

Payment processing may be subject to the terms and policies of the applicable app store, payment gateway, bank, card network, or payment partner.

4. App Store Purchases

If you purchase a subscription or paid feature through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the payment, billing, cancellation, renewal, and refund process may be controlled by Apple or Google.

In such cases:

  • Weefou may not be able to directly cancel your subscription.
  • Weefou may not be able to directly issue a refund.
  • You may need to cancel the subscription from your Apple or Google account.
  • You may need to request a refund directly through Apple or Google.
  • Apple or Google may approve or reject the refund request according to their own policies.

Deleting your Weefou account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your Apple or Google subscription.

5. Subscription Auto-Renewal

Some Weefou subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

By purchasing an auto-renewing subscription, you agree that:

  • Your subscription may renew automatically.
  • You may be charged at the beginning of each billing cycle.
  • You are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date if you do not want to continue.
  • Subscription cancellation will usually stop future billing, but it may not refund the current billing period.

6. How to Cancel a Subscription

If purchased through Apple App Store:

  • Open your Apple device Settings.
  • Tap your Apple ID/name.
  • Go to Subscriptions.
  • Select Weefou.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription.

If purchased through Google Play Store:

  • Open Google Play Store.
  • Tap your profile icon.
  • Go to Payments & subscriptions.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Select Weefou.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription.

If purchased directly through Weefou or another payment partner:

  • Contact us at founder@weefou.com.
  • Mention your registered email/phone number.
  • Share transaction ID/order ID/payment proof.
  • Mention the reason for cancellation.

7. Effect of Cancellation

When you cancel a subscription:

  • Future renewal may stop.
  • You may continue to access paid benefits until the end of the current paid billing period, unless stated otherwise.
  • Cancellation usually does not provide an automatic refund for the unused period.
  • Benefits may stop after the subscription validity ends.
  • Weefou may remove premium visibility, boosts, filters, or other paid benefits after expiry.

8. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only in limited cases, such as:

  • Duplicate payment for the same service.
  • Failed transaction where money was deducted but service was not activated.
  • Technical issue caused by Weefou that prevents activation of the paid service.
  • Wrong charge due to billing error.
  • Payment received but subscription or paid feature not delivered.
  • Other cases required under applicable law.

Refund approval is not automatic and will depend on payment records, service usage, transaction status, app-store rules, payment partner policies, and applicable law.

9. Non-Refundable Cases

Unless required by applicable law or app-store policy, refunds may not be provided in the following cases:

  • You changed your mind after purchase, forgot to cancel before renewal, did not use the paid feature, or purchased the wrong plan by mistake.
  • You found fewer matches than expected or did not receive likes, chats, replies, matches, plan acceptances, meetings, friendships, relationships, business connections, event attendance, or offline plans.
  • You were not satisfied with user behaviour on the platform.
  • Your account was suspended or banned for policy violation.
  • You deleted your account or uninstalled the app after purchase.
  • Your device, internet, app-store account, or payment method caused the issue.
  • The paid feature was used, consumed, partially consumed, or applied.
  • Promotional, trial, discounted, or limited-time offers were used.

Paid features do not guarantee matches, replies, meetings, relationships, friendships, business connections, event attendance, or offline plans.

10. Boosts, Super Likes, and Add-Ons

Boosts, super likes, paid visibility tools, one-time add-ons, and similar consumable features are generally non-refundable once used, activated, credited, or consumed.

Refunds may be considered only if:

  • The feature was not delivered.
  • A duplicate charge occurred.
  • A confirmed technical issue prevented activation.
  • Applicable law or app-store policy requires a refund.

11. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

Weefou may offer free trials, discounts, birthday access, referral rewards, launch offers, or limited-time promotional access.

Promotional offers may have:

  • Limited validity, specific eligibility rules, usage limits, non-transferable benefits, and separate terms and conditions.

If a free trial converts into a paid subscription, you may be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends, depending on the terms shown at the time of activation.

12. Failed Payments

If your payment fails:

  • The paid service may not be activated.
  • Your subscription may remain inactive.
  • Your access to paid features may be paused.
  • Your bank, app store, or payment partner may take time to reverse the amount if money was deducted.

If money was deducted but the paid service was not activated, contact us with transaction proof.

13. Duplicate Payments

If you believe you were charged twice for the same purchase, contact us at founder@weefou.com with:

  • Registered email or phone number.
  • Transaction ID and order ID.
  • Payment screenshot.
  • Date and time of payment.
  • Payment method.
  • Amount charged.

If duplicate payment is confirmed and Weefou has received the amount, we may process a refund or adjustment according to applicable payment partner rules.

To request a refund for purchases made directly through Weefou or supported payment partners, contact:

  • Full name.
  • Registered email or phone number.
  • Transaction ID/order ID.
  • Payment date.
  • Payment amount.
  • Plan or feature purchased.
  • Reason for refund request.
  • Screenshot or proof of payment, if available.

Incomplete information may delay review.

15. Refund Review Timeline

We will try to review refund requests within a reasonable time after receiving complete information.

Refund processing time may depend on:

  • Payment gateway timelines, bank processing timelines, app-store policies, transaction verification, fraud checks, technical investigation, and legal or compliance review.

Even after approval, the amount may take additional time to reflect in your original payment method.

16. Mode of Refund

Approved refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method used for purchase, where possible.

Refunds may be processed through:

  • Original payment method, bank account, UPI, wallet, app-store refund flow, payment gateway refund flow, or another method approved by Weefou or the payment partner.

Weefou may request additional details where needed to process a refund.

17. Account Deletion and Subscription

Deleting your Weefou account does not automatically cancel your active subscription.

Before deleting your account, you should cancel any active subscription from:

  • Apple App Store, if purchased through Apple.
  • Google Play Store, if purchased through Google.
  • Weefou support, if purchased directly through Weefou.

After account deletion, you may lose access to paid benefits connected with that account.

Refunds after account deletion are not guaranteed.

18. Account Suspension or Ban

If your account is suspended, restricted, or banned because of violation of Weefou’s Terms, Community Guidelines, User Safety Policy, or applicable law, you may lose access to paid features.

In such cases, refunds may not be provided unless required by applicable law or app-store policy.

19. Price Changes

Weefou may change subscription prices, paid feature pricing, offers, or plan benefits from time to time.

Any price change for future billing cycles may be shown through the app, app store, website, or other reasonable method.

Existing users may be charged according to app-store rules, payment partner rules, or the terms shown at the time of renewal.

20. Taxes and Fees

Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes depending on the platform, payment partner, location, and purchase method.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, payment charges, bank charges, app-store fees, or currency conversion charges, unless clearly stated otherwise.

21. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank, card provider, app store, or payment partner:

  • Your access to paid services may be paused or restricted.
  • We may review your account and transaction history.
  • We may provide transaction records to the payment partner where required.
  • We may suspend services if fraud, misuse, or policy violation is suspected.

22. No Guarantee of Results

Weefou paid services are designed to improve access to features, visibility, discovery, or user experience.

Paid services do not guarantee:

  • Matches, likes, replies, dates, friendships, business contacts, event attendance, travel partners, real-life meetings, relationship outcomes, or user acceptance of plan requests.

You understand that user response and interaction depend on other users and cannot be guaranteed by Weefou.

23. Technical Issues

If a paid feature does not work due to a confirmed Weefou technical issue, we may provide one of the following at our discretion:

  • Feature reactivation, extension of validity, credit of equivalent feature, refund if applicable, or another reasonable solution.

You must report the issue within a reasonable time with supporting details.

24. Misuse of Refund Policy

We may reject refund requests or restrict accounts if we detect:

  • Repeated refund abuse, false refund claims, fake payment screenshots, chargeback misuse, policy violation after purchase, fraudulent transactions, or attempts to use paid benefits and then claim a false refund.

25. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund / Cancellation Policy from time to time.

If we make important changes, we may notify users through the app, website, email, or other reasonable method.

Your continued use of Weefou after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
